Admissions and Enrollment Process
Thank you for your interest in Sea Lavender Montessori! We understand the importance of finding the right environment for your child, and we look forward to helping you learn more about Sea Lavender Montessori through our admissions process. Sea Lavender is committed to high-quality Montessori education, equity in the classroom, and an open-door parent community.
Enrollment is now open for the 2024-25 school year. We are currently accepting mid-year applications on a case-by-case basis.
Tuition for the 2024-25 school year – $16,700**
Application
The first step in our admissions process is to submit an application.
TUITION ASSISTANCE: We know that not every family who recognizes the value of Montessori education for their children can easily afford our full tuition. Sea Lavender Montessori is dedicated to providing need-based support for families who require it. We have a limited amount of need-based tuition assistance available. If you are interested in applying for aid, please indicate this on your application for admission. We use a third-party system, School & Student Services (SSS)/TADS, to determine aid eligibility. Observation
Observation is at the heart of the Montessori approach, and we encourage families to observe often. Once we receive your application, you will be invited to observe the classroom to see what a typical day in Montessori Elementary is like.
Interview
After you have had an opportunity to see the classroom in action, we will invite you and your child to visit for a brief meeting after school hours. This lets us get to know your child and you better.
Decision
Following the review process, you will receive an admissions decision email.
If your family chooses to apply for tuition assistance, we cannot send you an official admissions offer until after your TADS application is complete. However, your child’s place will be held as long as you make timely progress on your TADS application.

MEET: One-on-one meeting for the family and teachers.
DECIDE: An admissions decision is made.
ENROLL: Sign an enrollment agreement and pay the $500 tuition deposit.
Enrollment
If your family is offered a place at Sea Lavender and chooses to accept, you will receive an Enrollment Agreement through our family portal system, Transparent Classroom. A $500 tuition deposit to reserve your child’s place will be due within ten (10) business days of signing the agreement. This deposit will be applied toward your total tuition cost.
